I just found your web site today. I was very
pleased to find such a great site about our gun
ships. I was espicallly moved when I saw Tommy
Adachie on the 625 listing and also his picture.
That is the first time I have seen Tommy's face
since the night they rolled off on 4-21-70. I
was with the gun maintenance crew assigned to
the 16th SOS. Tom and I were friends in basic
trng. and at Lockbourn AFB where I first started
on AC 130's. Thank you for such a wonderful site
honoring those of the 16th SOS. I am having the
names of all crew members of 625 painted non the
faring of my 07' Harley Davidson Ultra Classic
as a humble way of honoring their service to our
great nation. |

Information on Agent Orange/Thailand?AC-130's -

My husband has CLL (a disease acknowledged by
the government to be caused by agent orange). He
flew AC-130 gunships out of Ubon, Thailand in
1970-71. Because he cannot prove he ever set
foot in Vietnam, he is being denied benefits.
Does anyone have information about Agent Orange
in Thailand or details on "turn around"
missions flown by AC-130's where they landed in
Saigon? Any information will be greatly
appreciated. |

I am looking for any possible photos or information that you might have of my brother, "Buddie" Lamoin T.Tripp, probably a spec.4 during his tour and a gunnery mechanic. Buddie passed away on 1 Aug 2006 without much other information available other than 2 dinstinguished flying crosses. Please help me if you can. He should have been there around 1970-1972.

Information on the Black Spots in Vietnam
(My late grandfather Jerry Maddalena was a Black Spot pilot in Vietnam. Can anyone provide me with any stories about this man/ squadron operations?? I live in California now, but grew up in Shalimar and Ft. Walton Bch.... perhaps there is someone I could talk to when I visit in early November??? Thanks for any tips you may have.)
